The best birthday gifts are friends!

Here is a card I made for one of my very good friends, Michelle. For her birthday a group of us went out for dinner, and had a wonderful time. We got to see the new sparkly bauble on her finger and celebrated the two grand occasions! Here is a few of us at the restaurant, Lindsay, Myself (in yellow), The birthday girl Michelle, and Monica. Here is the delicious cake Monica made! The Restaurant brought it out ablaze with sparklers and sang a little song.

This is the card I made for her birthday. It features the colours:

Sweetleaf,
Buttercup,
Spring Iris,
Lilac Mist,
and Colonial White.

The Stamp sets used are: Tickled pink, Surprises, Happy Birthday, Argyle Backgrounds and Journaling Jots.

I used the Journaling Jots stamps set to make the Colonial white paper have a graph paper look, by stamping a few rows of lines and then rotating the stamp 90 degrees and stamping again. I used Argyle Background and the White daisy pigment ink to make the 'purple' dotted paper.
